Ms. Ma Chunxi--- Wushu Scholar

1940--Ms. Ma Chunxi was born in a Wushu Family in Kaifeng, one of the Chinese Ancient Capital Cites—Kaifeng.. Her father was a well-know Wushu Master in China also. She had studied Cha Quan for her father in her childhood.

1961—She was enrolled by Wushu Department of Beijing Physical Academy. Had studied Chinese Tradtional Wushu from her Coach, Mr. Zhang Wenguang, a famous Wushu Scholar for 4 years. During the years, Mr. Xia Bohua (Famous Scholar of Wushu. Duan 9), Mr. Wu Bin (Famous Coach, Wushu Duan 9. Coach of Li Lianjie whose English Name is Jet Li) studied at the Academy on the same Grade with her also.

1962-1965—She was often appointed to show some performances to Foreign Prime Ministers by Chinese Government. She worked as Judge of Wushu after graduation from the Academy.

1965-1998—She worked as teacher, female Chief-coach of Henan Province and team leader on Wushu Championships. She participated in National Wushu Championships the Fouth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth. And fostered many world and national Wushu Champions such as Chen Jing, Wang Lixin, Li Baoyu, Xiao Surong and Shan Ming.

1998-2004—She had been awarded many honours on Wushu Events. Has published many Wushu Books and VCD on Taiji Quan & Weapon and Chinese Traditional Wushu. From 2003 to 2004, she was invited as Chief-Judge at the First and Second Hongkong International Wushu Competition.

2004—2007—She was invited to have a class in many countries.

2008—She is invited as Chief –Judge by Hongkong International Wushu Competition again. She is going to Hongkong from the date 5th to 13th March 2008.

Note: Ms. Ma Chunxi has devoted her whole life on Chinese Wushu and made a great work for the development of Chinese Modern and Traditional Wushu. It is our honour to invite her as our advisor of www.chinawushu.org . She will arrive at our partnership school to instruct Russian Group in Puyang on 16th March 2008.
